3-6-5 Baseball Academy opens as the first full-service facility in the region dedicated to baseball and softball training.  The climate-controlled 6,000-square-foot indoor complex is furnished with artificial turf and offers every amenity for ballplayers looking to improve their game.  The center is fully configurable for up to five baseball hitting or pitching lanes via a unique custom shell and also features a dedicated cage for softball.

Players ranging from age seven to 18 can also avail themselves of expert personal training with a staff consisting entirely of former collegiate and professional ballplayers.  The facility emphasizes a personalized approach, with each person’s specific needs addressed, while providing every component necessary to help them achieve their individual goals.

3-6-5 Baseball Academy was founded by former Middle Tennessee pitcher, Shay Horseman.  Once considered a top pro prospect, Horseman suffered a major “Tommy John” injury, while in college.  With his love of the game intact, he has dedicated himself to helping youngsters and maximizing their potential.  Baseball runs in Horseman’s family; his second cousin is former major league infielder and manager, Phil Garner.
